Main Focus Areas

The Human Resources Assistant is required to perform a full generalist human resources function. This includes industrial relations, recruitment and selection, training, counselling, submission of payroll inputs and the supervision of administration processes. The incumbent is further required to meet tight deadlines, to be accurate, to follow policies and procedures and to interact with members of the staff, management, external companies/agencies associated with Lenmed as well as members of the public.

  • Onboarding & Orientation
  • The collation & submission of payroll inputs
  • Industrial relations
  • Human Resources Audit & Reporting
  • Human Resources administration
  • Dealing with queries promptly & effectively
  • The effective handling of allocated projects and other related HR duties
  • Adhere to deadlines
  • Training and Development
  • Assist the HRM with monthly reports
  • Provide support, advise and guidance to the managers

Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

  • Matric Essential
  • A three-year Human Resources Diploma or Degree will be beneficial
  • Payroll experience Essential
  • Computer Literacy essential
  • A good working knowledge of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act
  • Kronos experience will be advantageous
  • Sage people 300 experience
  • Good people skills
